I do the job with these dogs and as far as animal behavior goes, I am a solid believer in nurture and instruction. I’ve met Jack Russell Terriers that I wouldn’t go near once again, but have by no means had a negative encounter with an American Staffordshire Terrier. If you’re talking about their owners- well, which is a several story. People are animals as nicely, and we often each have our individual strategies about “moral concepts”.

I could actually SEE Bartlet saying that. I would suggest making that into a youtube special, if you want to get that out to as many people as possible. I’m sure Sheen would do it. Obama might be a problem, but its exactly what the Democrats need to say.

Sorkin is an amazing writer. I think he should write White House Policy.

I think that line rang more true than any other i’ve heard in the entire election. We need a President Bartlet.

Obama needs to read this and then immediately hire Aaron Sorkin to be his Chief of Staff (hey, Leo!). And then he should hire me to play CJ Cregg, I mean, be the White House Press Secretary.

Seriously though, this is exactly what Obama needs to be saying (Senator, please don’t forget to cite!).

So Madeline told me to read this but I didn’t because I don’t watch the West Wing (yet!) and I thought I wouldn’t get it. Um, GENIUS. Loved the line you quoted, and this was another one of my faves:

BARTLET – who was 17 and pregnant and unmarried and the father was a teenager hoping to launch a rap career with “Thug Life” inked across his chest, you’d come in fifth behind Bob Barr, Ralph Nader and a ficus.
