If you watch the Olympics you will see that the majority of judges are all from different countries of the world and not from China. If you understand how they select the judges and how the scoring system works you will understand that no person can win unless the majority of the judges all score high marks for whoever wins. Averages win, not single scores from any country.
Having said this, you should also educate yourself in regards of how Chinese athletes train and live. Unlike some countries of the world where athletes are not supported financially, China develops their athletes at a very young age. Their food, housing and education are all designed around their athletic training. Combine this with a huge pressure to succeed in their homeland and the highly competitive drive of the Chinese people and you have a successful medal take for China.
Do any of the people writing or reading know that China has scored 3rd overall in Greece and Sydney and 4th in Atlanta and Barcelona? With the host country boosting its medal output on average of 15% it’s about time that China take 1st or 2nd overall in medal count in their own homeland.
But to you ignorant and uneducated readers and writers China’s medal counts most be some sort of international cheating scandal, a conspiracy of global proportions. Of course it is! All judges from all over the world are biased towards the Chinese athletes. Why did I not see this before? The average weight for gymnasts on the Chinese team is 77lbs. This accourding to NBCs coverage. At any rate, being smaller and having a lower center of gravity is a considerable advantage in every aspect of gymnastics. Additionally, the amount of wear and tear sustained by a joint belonging to a 101lb gymnast versus that borne by a joint belonging to a 77lb gymnast is significant. The rule, in part, was established to keep countries from delaying the onset of puberty to maintain the advantage of small size and weight.

First of all, we got more medals than any country. Second, I could care less if China won – if they didn’t cheat – I was actually half cheering for the underdogs before I realized they were little girls who were cheating.

Any educated person could tell you that.
You cannot blame it on the institution of communism because it is PEOPLE who make these decisions. You cannot blame an inert system when living beings are the ones imposing these choices upon “their people.”
So what if you have a few more gold medals to show for it? There is no integrity, and that is what truly makes a champion. I am by no means saying that every Chinese athlete is devoid of integrity, nor am I saying the United States is the only team with integrity, look at the Australian swimmers, Jamaican sprinters, the Brazilian volleyball players, the Spanish basketball players… They represent true national pride. If the people that run the Chinese government wanted to win the gymnastics competition so badly (which is the true fuel for the Chinese Olympians fire) why should we trust that they wouldn’t forge the documents when we know they have done such things in the past? They are not the only country to have done so either. Russia, Ukraine, etc. It is not a conspiracy. It is, plainly & simply, a lack of integrity. It happened, end of story.

I believe that the women’s/girl’s gymnastics competition was not a fair assessment of the talent pool because the age minimum was not abided by. There are official Chinese government documents that list the true ages of these girls as years younger than their passports indicate, however, the Chinese government refuses to release these documents because of the discrepancy in their ages. The Chinese girls would have their medals stripped, and yes, it just so happens the Americans would then take the gold. I believe this issue would be just as great as it is now if it were another country falsifying documents, it is not simply because it is China.
So before you make any more insane remarks regarding something you so clearly know NOTHING about, consider that the integrity that the Chinese government (not the girls on the team) is lacking in its actions is also reflective in your unwarranted, baseless comments.
