Besides the holiday cheer and all that jazz, one of the things I adore the most about this time of year is the end of year wrap-ups. It’s true. I would watch the E! Channel’s “Top 20 Celebrity Haircuts with Bangs of 2008” if it was on. Really, I would. But this is far more interesting than celebrity hair cuts with bangs, I hope. i’m legit terrified of spiders now.
So my friends all know that I’m nature girl–yeah, it’s weird. My envrionmentally friendly mom put me in a lot of nature classes growing up. What of it? NATUUUUUUUUUURE! GOULET!
Knowing that I LOVE nature, imagine my reaction when I saw this headline, and this picture:

Yup. I freaked the eff out. This will no doubt appear in my nightmares.
Despite my fear of spiders, I went to a school where the mascot was a spider. SPIDERS EVERYWHERE ON EVERYTHING. AHHH. Yes, I am a proud Richmond Spider. And devastated that I will not be able to make it to Homecoming this weekend. Miss me. GO SPIDERS! (But only the nice ones. That go to Richmond.)

nerd alert: accepted to all ivies.
I’ve got one thing to say to this guy: FREAK.
He moved from Poland just 5 years ago. But whatever, kid. You might have gotten into the entire Ivy League and a million other good schools (for sure the University of Richmond, heyyyyy) but this doesn’t change the fact that your name (Lukasz Zbylut) is going to get butchered by every professor you meet- just like the rest of us!
I also suffer from post-college depression and am taking it out on this defenseless, but brilliant, child. Do not judge me.
PS- He chose Harvard.
