Ummmm… wow. When I watched the Spiderman movies, I didn’t get any crazy ideas like that.

Yeah yeah yeah, this was SO last week. (Maybe you haven’t seen it?) But here it is anyway! It still makes me laugh, even though the second half is not nearly as funny as the first half. Enjoy!

Just look at him...he's a rock and roll GOD.
Today is a sacred holiday. It’s National Neil Diamond day. Let’s take a minute to appreciate how glorious this man is and the impact he has made on our lives.
What a fox. RAWR!
Ba ba ba! So good! So good!
Check out the outfits in this one. Neil Diamond is all that is man.

The geniuses at T-Mobile must be staring into my soul. They must know me, because I am obsessed with their viral video campaign and have dreamed each one of these scenarios. First, I posted the “Hey Jude” video, where thousands of people were singing together. Now, this one, with people dancing in a train station. Why doesn’t this happen where I live?!

It speaks volumes that Kathleen and I each independently discovered this video and intended to post about it. Or perhaps it just speaks to the creepy way some videos become viral overnight. Either way, I love this. Not exactly the funniest thing I’ve ever seen, but it’s perfect for reminding all of us how ridiculous our obsession with Twilight is. (Don’t deny it; I know you daydream of Edward Cullen.) I’ve only read the first book and can’t get through the second because it’s so bad, but damn gurl, I loved that first book. And I’m ashamed to admit that for like a month, I monitored my thoughts because I was convinced that some people could read my mind. (I wish, more than anything, that I was joking.) Anyway, enjoy this version of Twilight…with cheeseburgers:

Happy snow day for you east coasters! Here is a clever meshing of clips from The Office into a musical. I like it! I like it! I mean, I LOVE musicals (just ask my musical-hating college roommate…) and I LOVE The Office. Perfect? Plus, you’ll remember some of the scenes from the show and laugh out loud awkwardly to yourself. Or perhaps you are one of the unfortunate who had to go to work or school today. (I, by the way, am still doing neither.) Then, you will laugh out loud awkwardly to yourself around other people. Eek. Good luck with that.

If you’re in D.C. on this lovely Monday, happy snow day! At the very least, the federal government and my school got a snow delay, and I’ll take it. I woke up this morning around 7 a.m., looked outside, let out a “yippee!,” checked my email, and promptly fell back asleep. I’m impressed, actually…this is a legitimate snow storm. Normally when people are freaking out about snow here in the mid-Atlantic region, I get up on my high Colorado horse and am like “Pssh, you call this sprinkling a snowstorm? In Colorado we put on our swimsuits and call this summer!” (Which, of course, is a huge lie. Colorado is not the frigid tundra that some people think it is.)
Anyway, my morning classes and appointments are cancelled, so hooray! I’m quite happy to snuggle up in my apartment and watch entertaining YouTube videos like this one:

This is one of the best things ever. I posted Matt’s first video wayyyy back and here is his 2008 video. I was crying by the end of this video. Why? Because I love puppies and babies, world peace, harmony among the citizens of the world, dancing and traveling. Duh.
I need a real job.

This video is taking over the world wide webs! No but seriously, people are loving this. It is slightly hilaaaaaaarious. When the girl whips out the balloon? HA! But it’s weird too. Perfect for SWTCTW, no? Now all I can think about is Cadbury chocolate. YUM.

Today, as many of you know, is the start of the eighth season of American Idol (and there’s a new judge, Kara DioGuardi, who seems saucy!). Funny, I can only name a couple winners…and a few losers. (Clay Aiken, I’m talking about you!) The best part of the show is seeing the auditions. Remember William Hung? Yeah, he released a full album. But my favorite audition of all time has to go to the one and only Mary Roach. Perhaps someone tonight might top it, but I seriously doubt it. Enjoy the musical talents of Mary Roach!
Mary Roach, you will always be my American Idol.
